NEWS: FFHOTM First spoiler, Turn 150

First off, excellent scenario :D
Putz save, because im really that good...

Well, as im a cheater, i might have :mischief: sneaked a look at some advice. And added a worker. That was all my cheating (one forum look, then one worker). Im a cheater, I admit it.

Well, reading up on some advice, I ran the settler over to the flood plains to the east, because I sure didn't want to sit just next to a dragon that everyone was gawping about, just in case I became another dragon statistic. My scout went on a miraculous goody hut hopping (popped 2 techs!) and a quick sack the ruins/barrows, guided by the wide angle spot settler found by wandering over to the desert.

Orthus turned up around turn 60, and after much  he went down after killing one warrior, and i jumped him with a stack of four on a desert tile :D . The odd barbarian turned up, but they had to cross the desert and get stomped on, so I survived remarkably unscathed by barbarian incursions. I must admit that with my positioning, the barbs had to mostly go thru Tasunke to get to me  . My second city expanded out west to get the marble, then I started to expand back to my original start position.

Doing okays at turn 150, second on the table (605 pts) :D . I gifted my body mana to Arendel, and fire mana to Tasunke for good diplomacy. No wars, all quiet, Tasunke taking the brunt of the barbs. Met Charadon turn 67, glaring at each other from a distance. I even built the Tomb of Sucellus.

A mate of mine did this scenario, even with my advice to flee east. He stayed under the dragon and was eliminated via a lizardman on turn 22. I sniggered when the dragon killed his scout on turn 2. Phew, could have been me!
