Wasn;t there just recently a viking gotm?

Damn - that's a tough predator bonus - no GA from the berserker - means you have to actually build at least one wonder.

They are Expansionistic and Militaristic.

Yes, we played PTW Vikings in January. I'm sure they'll do the job this month as well! :)

And ... the saves are up!

At least from the conquest class bonus it's save to assume that we're all alone... :smug:

Anybody try to win this one without using zerks? :groucho:

All alone with an expansionist tribe again?

I've never cared much for 'zerks - they just seem too expensive. I'll probably use a few, but I think most of the damage will be done with cavalry.

Scout to the mountain, worker to the cow, probably settle in place. Research Pottery (or Alphabet if open or Writing if conquest).

I found out that Vikings in PTW are far down-powered compared to C3C Vikings. I would REALLY prefer the seafaring trait instead of the expansionist trait. This won't stop me from playing but I just hope the berserk will help me win the game if I can make it that far. I'm doing a couple of practice game samples before I start this one and if the feel is too unfamiliar still, I'll probably go conquest class.
