Just having read that as a new player I should introduce myself rather then letting other people book me in, here's the thing.

I'm new to the SGOTM and don't knnow anyone here, I'm very comfortable with playing emperor but have some problems on deity so I wouldn't mind joining some people who could show me how to beat that.

Just making sure you know I didn't forget signing up, I'm actually quite looking forward to it.

I think, for whatever reason, Andronicus was expecting the team to have lost more than just the one player (Redbad?). As that's not the case, and as Abegweit doesn't want to go oversize, it's best to take Wardancer, Taxpayer and me out of team Shaka again.

The previous list was simply a summary, in alphabetical order, of the signed up players.

Based on the information I think I have now, here is a proposed team structure. I've assigned the uncommitted players, including the group that now isn't in Shaka, to existing teams in need of more players, and to a New team. I've tried to ensure that there are players with previous SGOTM experience in each if the teams.

Please let me know if I need to revise these allocations for any reason. Apologies in advance if I have trodden on any toes or forgotten any historical relationships here.

If we are able to firm up the teams in the next 24 hours, I'll open the team threads on Wednesday, so that you can get started on your pre-game discussions. The New team will also need to work out what they want to call themselves before we get started on Saturday.

I just wanted to clarify my interest in simply being a lurker on Whomp's team...I will NOT be actively playing. I asked Whomp's permission before posting that request on the board.

Last game I lurked two different games with friends playing, but found it frustrating that I could NOT discuss with any of them, as I could never reveal what I knew or ask questions. Now they're on the same team and I'm looking forward to being able to chat about it via MSN Messenger.

OK, how about this, then? Since The A Team and Cats & Dogs have merged and formed Wood Chucks, there's no longer an A Team, so we have two "New teams". I assumed Wardancer, Taxpayer and PaperBeetle wanted to be together, and I've renamed FuzzYWuzzy to Psycho Bunnies. gmaharriet is in brackets as a lurker (sorry, missed that).

Please tell me what I've missed.
