Right, and even then, I've noticed no change to my beaker count. Maybe with the early RAs it was negligible...I'll watch it again now that I'm in rationalism and have the PT.

It is not supposed to increase your beaker count. At the end of thirty turns, it will take the median of the cost of all the technologies that you can currently research and apply it to the tech you are researching. For example, if the median cost is 30 :c5science, then you will get a one-shot 30 :c5science to the tech you are currently researching
