Next patch speculation thread

Wouldn't next week make more sense in terms of calendar dates, also? Most patches have fallen in beginning of months since last expansion, if my memory serves me right.

Yeah, at this point it's all a guessing game.
Tuesday June 4th would fit one of their vague patterns. It is 2 calendar months after their April 2nd patch release (1st Tuesday of the month). This matches the time difference (but not the weekday pattern) of their two 2018 spring releases (1st Thursday of both March and May - 2 months apart).

My personal hope is that it comes out today, but if it came out either Tuesday or Thursday of next week, I wouldn't be shocked.

The Mac and Linux "send to 2K " builds just updated again. Which tends to signal next week for those platforms if nothing bad is found. And they won't patch those before the PC patch. So the PC patch either comes before them or alongside them.

I would also much appreciate if the devs looked into the pathing algorithms, especially those of the embarked units. Those landlubbers must be so seasick that they use every opportunity to come ashore. If they have to come around a tiniest peninsula, you must babysit them almost tile by tile on their way, or else lo and behold they're already on the land, having burned their ample movement points and now taking twice as long to go there, where the range showed they could go. So bloody annoying.
