No civilization3.ini

Hi all, this is my first post here. I have been a long time Civ player but I have never gotten into the community.

Anyways it seems I have run into an issue. I have a 1680x1050 monitor, and under windows Vista I was able to force the resolution in civ 3 to match that through the Civilization3.ini. I'm now in windows 7 and I can't find the .ini. I tried making one and entering the string but to no avail.

It's in Compatability Files: just click go to the Civilization III folder, and click the Compatability Files button at the top right of the folder.
EDIT: Are you from the future? Because Windows 7 is set to release in October 22.

Win7RC is out for beta testing.

The game doesn't actually create the file until you start the game. Not sure about 7, but in Vista it will go into some funky folder in the C:\Users directory.

Ah there it is! And I am using the Release Candidate. It has been out for some time now. Thanks for the help.

Thanks... I've been hopelessly searching for the conquests.ini file under windows 7.
