No palace?

It's 2017 in my game and I have yet to have the screen to make an improvement to my palace and the P button on the lower right control panel is not there. I've had a golden age, the palace is built in my capital and was never moved, and my capital city has never been attacked. First time this has ever happened in all my civ playing going all the way back to civ1
What gives?

Unless you're playing the default rules, the City View and Palace View have been disabled in C3C.

Thanks. I wonder what rule change I did that disabled it? maybe the number of turns?
because last C3C game I had it.

Did you do a pbem or MP game? If that was set up with a rules change it would carry over to your next game.

no pbem or MP. it must have been going in and changing the number of turns from the default

Any kind of change, no matter how minor, will disable the Palace. As well, your score will not appear in the Hall of Fame.
