When running the 'No Raze' patch on the Steam version, there is a problem that the title menu is pushed out one by one. Is there any solution?

This problem is usually due to an incompatibility between the NoRaze patch and the Steam-version of the labels.txt file, which was edited to allow MP-games to be run via Steam (the Steam conquests.exe may also have been adjusted, not sure).

To fix it, go into your ..CivilizationIII/Conquests/Text/ folder, copy the labels.txt file, paste the copy back into the ../Text folder (you may need to confirm that you want to keep both files; or save the new file under a new name), and rename the copy as e.g. 'labels STEAM.txt'

The open the labels.txt in any text-editor, and scroll down until you find the lines

"...
Ping
Unknown
Host
..."

And delete the 'Unknown' line:

"...
Ping
Host
..."

Restart Civ3 using the NoRaze patch, and the button labels should go back to the correct versions. If they don't, well, that's why you made a backup first... ;)
