None Shall Pass 2 [Game Thread - Concluded]

I have reason to unvote for now. I don't have time to do much else right now, but I'll get back to this tonight.
Due to massive and overwhelming amount of data received about Takhisis I must conclude.. you people suck bad....

Perhaps somebody else suspected you are a liar with faulty results?
Huh?

Riedquat mentioned a ringwraith yesterday, and I believe he pointed at Vote: Takhisis, can you confirm?
Oh yes, I can confirm. I am the Ringwraith.

Given that people are voting for me: vote:choxorn is the holder of the One Ring. As a Nazgul I am searching for the artifact (it's my PG) and, while my alignment is evil, I am apparently a member of the town, because Morgoth doesn't/didn't like us servants of Sauron because of our failure. Remember that Boromir and Mr. Butterbur.

Now, my ability is to scan people to see whether they are in possession of the Ring or not. On Night One I scanned Snerk, who didn't have it, and I also received an arrow to the knee, which prevented me from doing actions on Night Two. On Night Three I was roleblocked. On Night Four I scanned Arakhor, who didn't have the Ring. Last Night I scanned choxorn and apparently the ability also means that I automatically attack whomever is holding the ring.
I scanned Takhisis tonight. He turned out evil.
That makes me interested in him.
Tak, I though you told me your Ringwraith character had gone good townie now?
Nope. I am a bad townie, as I told Monsieur de Riedquat a few nights ago.
Can you explain?
Can you explain what you are doing with that Ring? The only person who cotnacted me about it was christos200, who said his precious had been stolen, stolen by filthy hobbitses.

And, also, how and why did you survive an attack from an undead monstrosity?

That...does not sound like a townie. At all. And considering the fact that there have been two non-town SW factions and as of yet only one non town LOTR faction, I am inclined to believe that there are more non-town LOTR factions we haven't found yet.

vote: Takhisis

Alright, you've got me, I do in fact have the ring. Question is, why does that make me an anti-townie? Why do you attack people if you find out they have the ring?

As to why I survived: I'm bulletproof. Someone picked it up off the body of a dead Morgothian and I ended up holding it because well, it's kind of hard to kill me at night and take it. It doesn't seem to do much of anything for me, which makes me wonder why it's so important to you. Could it be that you're not town, and there's some sort of LOTR non-town faction or factions that need the ring, like the Jedi-Empire fight in SW? That seems pretty likely, I doubt there'd be such an imbalance of non-town factions across universes.

Considering all this, the fact that you're a canonical bad guy, and the fact that you just tried to kill me, I'd say we should lynch you today, Takhisis. You're clearly an enemy of the town.

What would a townie sound like, pray?

a) it corrupts anyone whose alignment isn't Evil already.
b) Because it's my ability.

Off the body of a dead Morgothian? Given that the Ring was never Morgothian and you somehow cite canon… :crazyeye:

I can't argue with such logic. It'd be like arguing with a child. fFoS: Takhisis!

A canonical bad guy? Really? The 'bad guys' are Morgoth… and Boromir… and perhaps a Berserker, which I am not… let my sacrifice help the town, then. Right? Oh wait, what sort of canon is there? Who are those Jedi, btw?

Well, someone from the Morgoth faction had it when they died, how am I supposed to know how they got it?

You got injured after an attack on choxorn? Wearing rubber pointy ears don't make you an elf you know!

Can you explain?

Amount of info= 0 :p

Yes, you claimed all that! Ringwraith, ring seeker, evil and you want the ring for yourself!

That...does not sound like a townie. At all. And considering the fact that there have been two non-town SW factions and as of yet only one non town LOTR faction, I am inclined to believe that there are more non-town LOTR factions we haven't found yet.

Exactly our thoughts at the moment of the reveal, but he revealed without pressure from me, and little pressure from others.

Alright, you've got me, I do in fact have the ring. Question is, why does that make me an anti-townie?

Alignment, if you are evil is all cool, if you are not evil or neutral-evil the ring will corrupt you if haven't done it yet.

As to why I survived: I'm bulletproof.

But the little elf got injured... I do wonder how!

Fair points, and same doubts that crossed our minds (Jedi council/Bsmith/some other jedi)... It is possible the ringwraiths are a lotr faction but I still want to know your alignment.

Apart, I don't know if Tak mentioned it or not, but his VC is based on the ring, having the ring will grant him an additional ability.

Takhisis It does make sense for there to be another Lotr Faction.

Some things make sense and some others don't... as you role!

it corrupts anyone whose alignment isn't Evil already.

I know that for my own role, good or neutral good townies will get corrupted by the ring

What exactly does "corrupted" mean? Just turning evil or something... else?

"I will believe him for no apparent reason"??? That sounds scummy as hell.

What you're really saying is "I will believe him because he's actually my teammate and we're plotting to destroy the town together"

Wouldnt that be extremely ironic?

Anyway, keep on not saying anything amd you will hang.

What I mean by no apparent reason is that although everything Takhisis said makes me want to lynch him, I trust Riedquat and that this being a Zack game, things are probably not what they seem. Plus you are being terribly evasive.
