(NOT A BUG) Didn't get a free missionary with 'choose own religion'

I researched Meditation first and I picked Taoism but I didn't get a Taoist Missionary.

I doubt its a bug, but just a balance issue. Think of it as the free missionary coming with the Philosophy technology.

Yep, sounds logic, although you might be able to select later religions now, the free missionaries are connected to the tech and not the religion, so you will only then get a free misionary, when you pick a tech that previously gave you a religion with free missionary.

Yes, giving a free missionary was a balance mechanism to help spread the later religions. It's working fine.

Oh, okay. My bad.. I usually skipped getting an early religion so I was like 'hey wait a minute..'

however...I am able to build Confucian missionaries before I build a monastary. Is that a bug?
