(NOT A BUG) Less movement points with railroads

I didn't notice this before, because I haven't had many wars in BTS,
but my modern armor have the same amount of movement points as a foot soldier.
Gunships can only move 2 extra tiles compared to the foot soldier.
The definition is clear for railroads : 1 movement point means you can move 10 tiles with railroads.
So, a modern armor should be able to move 20 tiles and a gunship 40 tiles.
Or am I wrong?
I've also looked back to an earlier save with only roads and there wasn't a problem.
A foot soldier moves 2 tiles and a horse archer 4 tiles.
 
I believe the way it works is that a railroad consumes 1/10 of your movement points. So if you go entirely by rail, all units are the same.
 
Somehow makes sense,
after all tanks use the same trains as foot soldiers ;)
 
Yeah, you're right. It's the same in warlords.
I'm not a warmonger, but in BTS you can't neglect your army.

Maybe a mod can delete this nonsense. :blush:
