(Not a bug) Polder bug

Polders replace windmills on the tech tree, but are listed as windmills on the city build screen (not polders), and don't seem to have any benefits apart from increased production.
 
No, I meant polder, but I thought it was a windmill replacement, as it seemed that way on the tech tree. What does a polder do to a non-marsh or flood plain tile?
 
The Dutch have a marsh start bias, so unless other setting mitigate that you should generally be finding tiles you can use it on.

I just was out of luck then. Although I can't complain. Getting 4 unique luxes in capital radius can hardly be called a bad luck. :king:

BTW, would it help to report threads that are clearly not about bugs or just add extra work for you? I mean this section is... :crazyeye:
 
I had only two marshes for four continental cities.

Apologies for the false pregnancy report: the tech tree threw me off. Under Guilds it replaces "windmill" with an icon that translates to "construct a polder." I assumed that the windmill replacement was called that, as opposed to a terrain improvement that, for all I know has nothing to do with the windmill, but with guilds.

With regard to the thread itself, I also thought it's become too unwieldy. Would it make sense to have a reserved space up front where one post lists everything confirmed below?
