[NOT A BUG] Possible Combat XP Bug...

...or I am a total noob and don't know what I am doing.

Anyway, I have played around 10 or so games and so far I cannot get any of my combat units to acquire additional XP beyond level 3, 30/60 XP. I play as Songhai with the Raging Barbs and do a lot of combat with just a few units in the ancient/classical eras. I have noticed that no matter how many battles, my units never advance beyond level 3, 30/60 XP points.

Can someone tell me if I am missing something or if this is a legitimate bug.

XP for barb fights are capped there . You'll gain more XP when you fight a real enemy.
