Not Working

When I start up Civ V, I just get a black screen.

Did Civ5 previously work for you, or is this the first time you try to play it?
In the latter case: Please provide your DxDiag (my what?!?).
In the former case: Did you do anything with your graphics card drivers? Have you already tried to validate the integrity of the game files via Steam?

Yes, I found the thing and hit save but when I tried attached three things came up... I'm not sure which one to attach. Should I do all three?

Since I'm also not sure what you see there and what these 3 things could be, I'd say yes, attach all three.

You are trying to attach the file you just saved, so look for whatever you called that. If you didn't change the name it'll be called something like DxDiag.txt. If you can't recognise the file you just saved then run the DxDiag again and this time note the name and where you save it.

Since your graphics drivers are from the beginning of 2011, I'd recommend that you update it, but I'm actually not sure what driver you need .

Alright thanks my Alienware type can't upgrade, I just got a new mac a few days back, I'll use that.
