Notable depictions of Extraterrestrials in the arts

I was mostly thinking of how painters, sculptors and cinematographers presented them, since those images are more specific (in relation to what an author describes, which to some degree is open to different visualisation) (by the way, computer game depictions of aliens can be posted too).

I will start the thread with one of the most famous artists who created work about aliens, HG Giger

You can post any depiction of an extraterrestrial, provided it is in the form of a drawing, painting (or painting-related art), cinematic, or sculptural art, and you consider it as interesting
It can be of a being, an environment, or both at the same time (including the alien environment being alive itself).

Well you kind of beat me to it so my contribution is more or less a moot point. Here it is though:

Giger was really something else and his work that contributed to the Aliens franchise is pretty epic in that it trickled into so many other franchises and films.

I think the classic 'grey' alien design is also very influential, but I'm not sure who gets credit for it.

It's pretty difficult to find any decent HP Lovecraft-related art :/

Cthulhu is painted often, but all images i found were rather boring imo. Wilbur Whateley (and his twin) also seem to be mostly of little artistic merit from the images i managed to see. Same seems to be the case with Deep Ones and that creature from Dagon.

Sticking w/ Niven and Pournelle, I don't think anyone has every done a good picture of a Motie.

Good looking Puppeteers aren't hard to find though.

And then there are actual puppets.

Some of which are a familiar and some of which are quite alien.

Many aliens travel in groups, but some don't socialized.

Some aliens can shake the firmament of the Heavens.

Others are empowered by the Heavens, through an interaction w/ the cosmic particles known as "Kirby Dots"

Actually KKFOS can be scary if a pre-highschool child watches it- as i did. That scene with the ventriloquist clown was quite horrible :/
