There didn't seem to be a peep at all during the night, and when the sun rose in the morning, nearly everyone seemed well rested. A head count was quickly conducted and it was soon confirmed that all eleven of the soldiers that had went to bed last night were still alive. For the first time in two days Beefy187 was well enough to work with the generator, which he got to work on right away. Within minutes he'd managed to the get the lights and heater working at full capacity, much to relief of everyone else.
A pistol was found lying around oddly enough, and someone also noticed that the Door to Commander Frozens Office had been damaged. Additionally it appears that the door to CCRunner's room was melted by the all too familiar acid.

How very interesting.
The binoculars managed to pick up shadowy movement "next to me" of some kind of dark shape. But when I looked closer at it, it was gone. I wonder if these advanced binoculars can detect invisible things. But quite honestly these things seem useless if they don't give me more info than that. The reference books won't be useful to me either unless I spend time reading them.
I was expecting some vigilante action last night that never happened. What happened?

“Looks like there was another attempt on CCRunner, These basilisk and their masters maybe clever in some ways yet they are not. After failing to attack me, they decide to attack a VDF agent who is clearly stronger than me, twice. That is just daft.”

Are we supposed to be trying to find Commander Frozen? What if HE turned into a werewolf or an acid-spitting... thing?
Personally, I'd feel a lot safer with the Pistol, and I'd also very much like to help RAISE MORALE again with the Violin. I'm fine with Sprig getting the radio unless someone objects. And I'm rather worried about anyone getting a claim on the high powered VDF rifle. It seems to me in a strength-based victory, it needs to be in innocent hands, and no one else's. I'm the only one I know of who I can trust with something like that, but I'm just inviting trouble if I start hoarding items.

So the VDF agents are another faction, the question is are they good or bad? My current thought is that either way they make a good counter to the acid spitters. So lets wait to lynch them until we catch the silent ash.
However CCRunner I believe you ended up with the metal cylinder, I would like to see (either publicly or via PM) what it did last night. If you did not figure it out give it to me I think I know what to do with it.

Would it be too much trouble if we could keep track of who has what item? Can we do a list of who has what, so we don't unbalance things too much.
I mean, the publicly known items at least. Stuff the scums are already aware of anyway.

Ok time for some of my own analysis
First we have 11 people left, and we know of two groups other than innocents.
I am speculating that either both groups are bad or that there is a third group still hiding out, otherwise it does not seem that we have enough opponents (one group seems small for this big of a game).
I expect the groups to either be 3 or 4 people so we have 2 or 3 silent ash left.
We have the 2 presumed VDF agents left
We may have another group of about 3 left.
If we assume that each group started out as 3 then that means that we either have 7 or 4 baddies left which means 7 or 4 innocents.
In the case with 3 groups the innocents are already outnumbered and our only hope is to get the bad guys to kill each other.
In the (more likely) case that there are only 2 non innocent groups we still outnumber them (even taken together) though not by much. We can lose 2 more people and still outnumber them, which at the rate people are dying we still stand a chance even if we lynch an innocent tonight (although that would be very bad). What this also means is that we dont have to worry too much about the VDF agents yet. I say it is better to look elsewhere today and then tomorrow if we lose people kill them if we become worried.
We also have to worry about a strength victory.
Because of that we want to spread the strength around as much as possible so that we dont lose by this means any sooner than needed. Thus we want to vote the weapons to characters without much strength.
As a chemist I have low strength and would like one of the weapons so
I'd like the rifle
or
I'd like the pistol
