November Folly

Yeah, I can't connect to the PitBoss now, either.
Can I run PitBoss on the same IP as the one I am trying to access it from? That may be the problem.......

I think pitboss is not configured well. I don't know much about it, just when I set some "random" adress I get the same message...

Maybe it can be problem... I will search for some previous topics now...

Here, the last post can be useful...

Email sent out to Burlicconi, Mikeyia, and Slaze. this is the real thing :). It is advanced start, so jump in an pick your civ. Pick one of the FIRST FOUR. Those are the ones set up for humans. The last three are for AIs. First come, first serve. I picked one of the not so good ones (IMHO) :D.

Burli, I think your dutch are in there, even.....

Why wasn't I allowed in this game.

Playing with AI in pit boss sounds like a really really bad idea... There is no way the AI are going to be anything other than canon fodder on noble level... It is so much better to have humans it isn't funny...

I'll join too gmt+2 atm cause of wintertime. From norway. So should be same timezone and burlicconi and sonnybonds.

OK, i get in, but I didn't choose one of first four civs... I haven't read this post, and when jump in game it was 4 nations chosen and 3 available. 2 of them were choosen by elemental, so I picked one of them... In game I saw that turn has already been taken, so... I put password on it...
Also one suggestion- playing with AI can be much less entertaiment than playing with real humans... Especially when AI is noble, you can easily crush it...
And, about random leaders- I uggest that we determine before game who will be who, just to avoid unfairness. For example, first man can choose between 4 civs, last only one...
So, have I screw ting or not ( I think on my choose of leader now)...

We are trying to keep the time between -5 and -8 GMT, for the most part. Burlicconi has an exemption, because we know (from past experience) that he is up all night in Serbia for some reason :). Our hope is to occasionally get all the players (6) together at one time so we can play several moves at one time. Theoretically, that will happen in the evenings, sometime between 7 and 10 pm local - which would probably be 3 am to 6 am your time.

However, since this is a evolving process, does any of the scheduled players want to weigh in on adding two more players and possibly going to a large map? The likelihood of block play will be minute, but since we are doing an advanced start, that drawback should be at least partially negated. I would like to set up the game today and get it running.

If we choose simultaneous turns, we can play with some additional players... Also, some multiplayer sessions from time to time can make things faster...
