November Folly

My bad... I am confusing games... Did you actually get an event that gave you one gg point though? cause i find that rather hard to believe :p(don't think the events that give you experience give you gg points).

Is it possible to reload? I was not able to play my turn...

By the way, a turn of 24hours could by nice!

That is a bit of an issue....the turns are set to 20 hours, which usually result in 21-24 hour actual time elapse. Last turn was just about 21 hours, which is a bit on the short side, but more than the 20 that the 'official' turn is set for.

I think the idea (including the one behind the 12 hours free-order turns) is that you can look at the game twice a day an make your move is neccesary. I will reload this one, seeing you are at war; however, this is the last reload due to missed turn. I cannot change the timer, so it will stay at 20.

Oyzar, you supposedly have 6 hours to make your turn again. If you cannot do this, let me know when you can and I will reload.

I am going to be out for the next 6 hours minimum and maybe not back on until +12 hours, so I may not be able to fix until then.

The reload was too short and I had not enough time to play...

I know it is quite annoying but is it possible to reload again? It's important for the game I think...

By the way I did'nt understand why it was so short?

The reload was about 7 hours, in addition to the 21 hours that had already been allowed. I cannot change the amount of time available after a reload, it automatically is set to the time that was left when the game was saved. We cannot keep reloading....if you cannot play within the 21 hour window, we can try and find another player or use an AI.

That said, you should have 12 hours from the beginning of this turn to move before Oyzar goes again; however, it looks like Oyzar had already moved (and it has only been 6 hours)?

It seems that oyzar is not aware about double turns... plus the fact that I had not enough time to play my turn...

We cannot go on like that, no ?

a) you did have time to play your turn yesterday - the game has always been set to 20 hours plus whatever slippage comes from the Pitboss. The fact that you did not play should not result in someone else (Oyzar) having to continually replay his turn. We reloaded once, but we will not go back to that turn again.

b) Yes, I am not sure about why Oyzar moved before his time occured. If I had to guess, I would think he saw you log in and thought you had moved, but you had not.

c) I am going to reload just before Oyzar moved this turn. I am assuming you will be able to move in the remaining time. If not, or you 'cannot go on' after missing your turn, let us know.

- Okay, the game is reloaded.. Oyzar/Phabuk - CivStats says that Oyzar has gone, but he has not. Please play your turns, Phabuk first, Oyzar second.

The turn started ~2 pm GMT (which does not show up in civ stats, at least not clearly). Oyzar, if you can give Phabuk until ~2am GMT, that would be good. If you do not have time (because the turn will end ~3am GMT, I think), we will save the game and reload later when you do.

I am fine with that.. i still have 8 hours to take the turn after the first 12 hrs...

I may be without electricity for a bit if I miss a turn or two. Major ice storm heading my way. Oyzar feel free to put my puny civ out of its misery if I'm absent.

Server went down for a while this morning, but is back up. Burlic, you will have to move again (I think you were the only one that had moved).

Good luck with that weather...we were 40 yesterday, supposed to be in the 70s today, and then back to 40 tomorrow......weird.

-70 C is cold!!

Lol, that is cold, and that is also why I live in Texas :D. It freezes once or twice a year around here, and only for a day or two..... I have relatives in MN with roots in Norway...a crazy bunch, but it probably seems just like home except the water is fresh instead of salty.

Snow and ice here. White Christmas :).

Looks like gamespy went down again... Hence unable to get into the game.
