hehe...a "Communist-Nazi", eh? Now I've seen it all. I've met a militant pacifist, an overweight anorexic, and now, a communist nazi.

To answer your question: The art (obviously) was supplied by Firaxis. The lascivious thought was supplied by me. Photoshop did the rest. :smoke:

That seriously happened to me yesterday!

Do you mean that you looked at your watch to see what year your game was up to? :crazyeyes

i had this weird dream were i lived in my civ, (industrial age) i was buying fruits n' stuff when calvary from another country attacked the city and some one sent a telegraph to the army and they sent infantry to kill the horses and then they hanged the peeps on the horses, then they got on a train (i somehow changed from a regualr civilian to a soldier dreams never make any sense) we waited on the train five days until we got off and crossed the border (we had to show passports even though we were an army trying to kill the othe civ)well i got off and we were fighting against the enemy and destoring their roads n' stuff when all of a sudden they got tanks against us and we were all getting killed, then the dream went crazy where there was this warrior fighting against a cruise misille i was fighting martians (don't know where they came from but thats the way dreams go) until this soccer player kicked the earth into the sun then i was at school doing my work, but all in all it was a messed up dream, pizza and pepsi before going to bed is never good for you.

Somehow......I doubt it...

I did dream about Civ3 once too. I got a unexpected diplomatic victory.

Man, I'm such a nerd! :o

That is true. At least once after I've played civ for hours and then go straight to sleep it's almost as if my mind is still playing it. I'm still thinking about strategy and stuff while I'm in that half dream/half awake stage. The strange thing is it's like I'm not the person doing the thinking. The same happened to me after I played Dynasty Warriors 2 for four hours straight before going to sleep. My mind was still thinking about strategy and the game w/o me being the actual one thinking.

I have had this experience many times, with many strategy games. The funny thing is, turn based strategy games seem to become real time strategy games in this state. I also had a dream where I was directing artillery fire on a city.

Ha! Glad I am not the only one dreams about my attacks.... :D

You have to constantly keep your mental strength up for the coming attacks in your next game. For a good strategy makes all the difference.

DF :p

Heh. <sarcasm>OF COURSE NOT!!!</sarcasm>

Just as long as it doesn't get in the way of school, university, college, work, relationships, etc. there's no problem with playing a lot of Civ III.
