either marketplace should not require gold or bank should not require marketplace
coz if you dont have gold, you have no money to spend on science...

i suggest to halve the time people are unhappy after drafting or poprushing, because the game is so fast-paced

also, to increase fierceness of a nuclear war, halve the current build cost of all nukes
ICBMs should also start golden ages

and reduce the duration for the worker job clear damage, because otherwise you need 20 workers per full city to clear up all the pollution

KYA, all very good suggestions. Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll take away the Gold requirement from all buildings. I agree that the ICBM should have the same golden age effect as the tactical nuke.
 
what i also noticed:
the game is quite a lot easier than the normal game

on normal agression level it is easy to power-expand without any defense for the first 30-40 rounds, then bunker with mech inf, and after teching to modern armor over the next 40-60 rounds you just run the enemy down with MA-Armies
this is especially easy since you can build an army in 2, in good citys even in 1 turn!!!
therefor i say put armies back to 400 shields, or remove the ability to build armies alltogether
also maybe remove the rubber requirement on infantry, so you can at least build a semi-viable defender right from the beginning
 
i've been modifying your mod a bit, i hope you don't mind
all below only aplies to my modded version
i removed the hydro plant, and gave the nuclear plant 3 polution
the solar plant only gives 25% production bonus but costs only 100 instead of 160 shields
recycling center only reduces pollution by 1
mass transit doesn't reduce pollution or give prodiction bonus, instead it increases luxurys + 50% (any building there that originaly does that?)
armys cost 500 now, and forbidden palace doesn't give free leaders anymore

turn penalty for sacrifice/draft is now 5
citizen value in shields is 25
infantry shield cost is 30
ICBM and nuke costs are halved again
ICBM is a Golden-Age-unit

made beginnig techs a bit cheaper, later techs (even) more expensive

maybe also some other things i forgot ;-D

yeah, also gave cavalry 10 attack, removed resource requirements, upgrade path changed to tank for a nice attack unit at game start

also guerillia has hidden nationality, 40 cost, and all terrain = roads

de plus, aqueduct is needed for 6+ pop and costs only 30, and hospital is needed for 8+ pop, and costs 40 at 1 maintenance
 
They all look like interesting changes. Sounds like you've been having a lot of fun!
