NUKE-NES: ONE LAST TRY
UPDATE 1 ::: 3000 B.C. – 1000 B.C.

The Rise of Civilization came swiftly, all starting with the seeds planted deep in the Soil of the Fertile Crescent. Slowly these Infant Nations have rose, followed by others all about the world. Africa. Southeast Asia. The Pacific. Europe. The Dawn of the Great Empires is here…

THE FERTILE CRESCENT:

Three Great Empires have slowly come of age in the great Crescent. The Holy Padics, the Persians and the Egyptians.

The Holy Padics are a civilization on the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers. Its great capital of Baghdad lies upon the Euphrates and is a shining example of the rise of culture from the darkness which once held the land. Padic expansions are both achieved in the fashion of conquest and conversion as the empire’s neighbors are show the light of the Padic religions, something much more immense then their Pagan Rituals.

(+ The Holy Padic Empire / -100 Padic Spearman)

The Rise of Persia is not surprising. For many decades the people of this region have shown their cleverness. They are advanced, even for their time and they may even be the first nation to ever build a navy. Their Capital is a magnificent sight and the people seem bound to prosper.

(+ The Persian Empire)

Egypt is unique from its brothers in the Crescent. Egypt is one of the oldest empires ever. Centered on the prosperous Nile River, Egypt is the only known Empire to have a second major city besides its capital (Alexandria) Egypt is indeed prosperous, but over time it has fallen into turmoil. Egypt is threatened by its own incompetent rulers, the people have suffered greatly and the people are moving towards revolt.

(+ The Egyptian Empire / -150 Spearmen from Revolutionary Actions)

ASIA MINOR (TURKEY):

Asia Minor is also dominated by three rising powers. The Hittites with their capital deep in the center of Anatolia. The Fayid Dynasty along Anatolia’s Southern Coast. The Byzantium of the Bosporus.

The Hittites have grown quickly, not as old as the Crescent Empires, but none the less a great empire. Expansions have been made in many directions, even giving them access to the waters of the Black Sea. But, all conquests have a price and this is no exception, but despite the casualties the empire continues to flourish.

(+ The Hittite Empire / -200 Hittite Spearman / -50 Hittite Chariots / +Access to Water/Navy)

The Fayid Dynasty lacks in comparison to the Hittites when it comes to their military. But the empire thrives in the subjects of art and literature, much revenue is invested into their educational system. Only a portion of the Fayid treasury is invested, but this is only due to the appearance of Egyptian pirates whom plague the shores of Southern Anatolia. If the Fayids ever wish to become great, they must find a way to counter this threat of piracy.

(+ The Fayid Dynasty / -150 Fayid Spearman / + 1 Education (1/2) / -2 Eco Points due to Piracy)

The Byzantium also faced a threat form Egyptian pirates for sometime, but this threat was finally dispersed with an immense growth of their navy. Ship quality is claimed to be the best in the known world. Their control of the high seas has allowed them to prosper from its rule of Black/Mediterranean Sea trade.

(+ The Byzantium Empire / +100 Byzantium Galleys / +1 Quality for the Navy / -20 Byzantium Galleys from Battle)

ASIA (OTHER):

Within the jungles of Asia life also advances to the point of Empires. Examples of this can be found along the shores of China where three Dynasties have risen. Tsing Tao. Huang. Xebi Xian. But, other Asian nations have also grown. There is the Indian Empire of Mojerno Dojero. The Minh Dynasty of Southeast Asia (Vietnam) and the glorious Island Empire of Kagubanlanta, one of Asia’s oldest empires.

Kagubanlanta, Empire of the Philippines has grown as the only major power of the region. It has made great advances in Agriculture; harvests here are some of the best in the civilized world. The Navy dominated the Philippines but its major growth in military has been the expansion of its land armies. Kagubanlanta has begun expansions upon the rest of the Philippines and so far has been met by much success.

(+ The Kagubanlanta Empire / + Slight Population Growth (Remains Small) / + 100 Axemen, 250 Archers, 150 Spearmen)

The Minh Dynasty of Southeast Asia has grown slowly. Unlike its Asian Counterparts it has suffered more then prospered. The Dynasty is hurt by poor military leadership and a lousy agricultural policy. The Minh will need a strong leader if they hope to survive.

(+ The Minh Dynasty / - 100 Spearman (From Revolts) / -10 Galleys (From Piracy))

In Tsing Tao China, advances in Agriculture are made along the Yellow River. The Tsing Tao seeks to control trade within the Yellow Sea and have made small expansions along the coast. Casualties have piled up however and the military is in need of its own expansion in both numbers and in quality.

(+ Tsing Tao Chinese Dynasty / + 500 Axemen / - 150 Spearman / + Slight Growth in Population)

The Huang Dynasty lies below the Tsing Tao Dynasty. The Huang are a militaristic people and controls its people through brutal ways. The Huang Military has expanded recently, as though preparing for future conquests.

(+ The Huang Chinese Dynasty / + 250 Horse Archers / + 500 Axemen)

The Xebi-Xian is the last of the great Chinese Dynasties. It is also the smallest, but there are good reasons for this. The Xebi-Xian has developed their infrastructure in an extraordinary way, developing roads. These roads have allowed easier movement within the dynasty, food can reach all corners of the Dynasty and troop movement is quick and efficient.

(+ The Xebi-Xian Chinese Dynasty / + Dirt Roads throughout the Empire (0/3))

In India, The Mojerno Dojero has grown to be the dominant power of its region. The Indians have made great advancements in many areas but the most recognizable is that of its use of War Elephants. Mojerno Dojero culture has also been affected, the region is rich with Ivory and religion is deep in the people’s souls.

(+ The Mojerno Dojero Empire / + Cultural Advancement / + 25 War Elephants)

AFRICA (NOT INCLUDING EGYPT):

With the exception of the Crescent Empire of Egypt, only two other empires have grown within Africa. The strongest is Carthage, a mighty trade empire with expansions into Sicily. The other is The Janjaweed Empire, centered on a mighty lake that connects with the Nile.

The Janjaweed Empire has made some expansions along the Lake’s shores; most of the lake’s populace has even joined them willingly. But with the exception of the conquests the Janjaweeds have moved towards preserving their treasury.

(+ The Janjaweed Empire / - 50 Spearmen / +1 Banked Economic Point)

Carthage is an empire of Trade; it controls a strategic point along the coast of North Africa and has colonized most of Sicily. The Carthaginian Navy is small but it has great quality. The Empire of Malta, however, has posed a threat to Carthage for sometime now, but Carthage continues it monopoly on the Mediterranean.

(+ The Carthaginian Empire / + 2 Navy Quality / + 2 Eco Points from Trade)

GREECE:

The Greek Peninsula is home to three highly advanced Empires. Athens. Sparta. And last of all, Miona. These three empires make up the Greek Theatre. One is highly Militaristic. One has birthed Democracy. One has fallen into disarray but continues to hold its own in this fearsome theatre.

Sparta is home to what may be the world’s most hardened people. Terrifying warriors who live by the spear and survive through conquest. Sparta’s army is the product of mighty training programs and vile rituals. Sparta’s armies may be strong but its culture has suffered from its highly militaristic policy.

(+ The Spartan Empire / + 300 Spartan Hoplites (UU) / + 2 Army Training / - 1 Culture (Or at least a slower rate of cultural growth))

Athens is an empire founded around democracy, a relatively new system that seems to be the envy of the world. Athens army is lacking to the Spartans, but its people are united and will fight to the death. Athens has a strong culture and seems to have a promising future ahead of it.

(+ The Athenian Empire / + 1 Cultural Advancement / + 1 Confidence / + 50 Athenian Galleys)

Miona is an empire based upon the island of Crete. Miona, at its founding was a great trade empire, but refusal to modernize and accept new ideas, such as that of Athenian Democracy has caused the Empire to fall in stature.

(+ The Miona Empire / - 1 Confidence / - 100 Spearman (From Revolts))

EUROPE:

Europe is a fearsome theatre conquered by both imperial powers from the inside and outside. Italy is split between two powers, the Roman Empire and the Confederation of Italian Celts. The only other major European power is that of Malta, based upon a small Mediterranean Island, Malta seems to be near conflict with Carthage.

Malta is one of the first empires in Europe which should catch your eye. It is a major contender for Sicily and holds a powerful navy. Malta has grown a powerful ground based military. Malta’s rivalry with Carthage has hurt the Maltese Trade and Economy.

(+ The Maltese Empire / +50 Maltese Galleys / +1 Eco Point from Trade (Should have been 2) / + 500 Axemen)

The Celtic Tribe Confederation is based in Northern Italy, The Celts have a strong culture, and the people are quite advanced for their time and love their homeland. The Celts have a normal sized military and it is of normal quality, the military is lesser then that of its Roman counterparts to the south but the people are very confident.

(+ The Celtic Tribal Confederation / + 1 Confidence / + 1 Cultural Advancement)

Rome is a glorious empire based in the midst of the Italian Peninsula. Roman training is only matched by that of the Greek Spartans. The Romans have made conquests towards the South and have even reached the sea opposite of their original shores. Romans and Celts have entered into a conflict; no blood has been shed yet but as relations worsens, who can tell.

(+ The Roman Empire / +1 Roman Training (From Conquests) / +1 Roman Confidence)
