NVIDIA CineFX 3.0 and Geforce 6800?

Are they basically each others equivalent? I am getting a new board and everytime I google CineFX 3.0 I get a bunch of reviews of the Geforce 6800...

By the looks of it, NVIDIA CineFX 3.0 is part of the technology used on the Geforce 6800 cards.
