No problems at all *knock on wood* playing at 1920 x 1200. Of course I reimaged my computer from scratch last week and updated to the latest and grestest video drivers.
I'm the original poster and I am happy to say that I have resolved my issues by re-installing the lastest drivers for my Geforce 6600GT. I also updated my nForce drivers and banned PC-Cillin from my system.
I have been playing for 2 hours now and everything works and looks great!!!
Happened to me as well with the Nvidia driver 81.85, updated to 82.10 (http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/) and now that problem is gone for good it seems. (6600 Go on Pentium M 1,7)
Some other display problems still exist though, for example in cities that got above 100% of culture, the numbers just get written above one another making it completely unreadable. Another one is in the online server browser, the column marking servers as locked or open is at 100% table width, with no means to resize it.
Im running a nvidia geforce fx 5200 and I definitely have problems...the game will randomly cut out certain graphics at times, very annoying and sometimes makes it unplayable when the buttons dissappear.
