You'd think they would put something this important in the manual. I'm disappointed.
As for the combat math (loud scream!!!), they really ought to fix that. I understand the math system, of course, but the logic is crazy: there is no way a caravel could sink a battleship! Give me a break!

I've never seen a second GOlden Age at all, and I'm pretty sure that the documentation claims that a civ will only get one. Interesting to see that so many of you have had more than one - I look forward to experimenting with this phenomenon!
Maybe, but im 99.9% sure it was the destruction (razing) of a size 7 Russian City with tanks. It was the first Russian City I'd razed, even though we'd fought before (long before) to a general stalemate.
If you can find that in the documentation, could you post the reference/page number? I can't find it and I'd like to get some clarity on whether this is a bug or a feature (or both)
