saam: where does the bank take profit from?
The only way for the bank to earn money would be if you give loans out and make money with the interest.
You doesnt the bank give away savings account interests? This way you could "load" money from your customers to work and get profit out. Like real banks do ;-)
Example:
You could pay 10 for every 1000 gold to your customers. Now if you use give those 1000 to someone else as loan for 30 for evey 1000, for 3 tc'S, you would have earned 20.
Using this would also include the bank can NOT just get money out of nowhere to give it to customers, as it is now.
As you see, no money of those the income is reduced with go to the bank.Making money
Prices and profit are determined by the sale price of goods and services. Manufacturers keep 60% of the money received for their product. The other 40% is assumed to go for upkeep of property, salaries for employees, rent, material costs, machinery, etc. Resellers keep 60% of the money received for sales. The other 40% is absorbed by the cost of doing business, just like manufacturers. Services keep 80% of the money received for services as they have a much lower cost of doing business.
