Official Civ IV SDK - what will it contain?

There is a BIG difference between raising Happiness and Lowering Unhappiness. As I said above, a police state hardly makes people HAPPY, but it does reduce the number of UNHAPPY people-by sending those people of to either Gulags or Death Camps. The two are completely different.

There's a big "flavor" difference, but no gameplay difference. Besides, this is doable anyway: the iUnhappiness (insert real names here) fields can take in negative values.

Trust me, Zurai, FLAVOUR is what is important to me in this regard. I don't like the idea that people being 'disappeared' is going to make people 'HAPPY'-it simply cuts down the number of 'unhappy' people in relation to the happy.

Where is this iUnhappiness field of which you speak-I haven't been able to find it. Any help you can give would be MOST appreciated :)!

I'm pretty sure that most of the integer tags in the xml can take negative values as well as positive values. So basically make a thingy which instead of giving positive happiness, gives negative happiness (unhappiness).

But that won't work. I want negative Unhappiness, not negative Happiness-that is very easy to do already, and I have already done it a few times, the former is much harder to do, and I have yet to find the required field in either python or the XML codes.
