Okay, what just happened?

You can see that "invalid" thread about a signiture glitch. I was posting it, then I got a busy message. Then the computer froze. Talk about wierd

Anyway, my thread was about my sig. I just noticed that my sig smiley went from to I changed it back just to be consistent, but what just happened? Did anyone change it, or was it just a glitch?

EDIT: okay, now that wierd thread just disappeared.

I saw a "too many connection database error" and have deleted a few duplicate threads from Civ3 general. Your signature glitch thread is deleted cuz it's empty.

At least the error was temporary...

Heh, my thread was empty because it was probably halfway through sending before the wierd stuff happened.

Okay, I just found out what happened. A friend of mine who browses the humor forum as a guest got into my account and did all those things. I fixed it by changing my password.

I've seen more threads where people complain about this... I guess you really should try to keep your password to yourself, instead of telling others so they can help you remember it...

My friends dont have a memory, so I never told them

What happened is that one time I logged on from my friends house so it would log back in automatically.

You shld have remembered to delete the cookie when you left your friend's house, after finished posting there. Someone posing as you can get you into serious trouble online...

Consider it a lesson learnt.
