Old games

I play a game, it's not old, but the graphics are not much good called Steel Panthers World At War. It's a WWII turn based strategy game, freely downloadable. Look it up on google.

I have started downloading that. I got 50MB so far. I got Steel Panthers 1, and I hope this will be just as good.

I also have Transport Tycoon Deluxe...... with the patch!

what about Railroad Tycoon, Pirates!, or Dungeon Master? :)

Transport Tycoon fans might like to know about an open source version that's being worked on right now, OpenTTD. (at the moment you need the windows version of TTDLX to be able to use the game though.)
Also the sequel is due out in a couple of months, it's called Locomotion

Settlers 2 guys :D and the first Civ...

TTD, Simcity 2000 and CIV I are the ones I most played...

But how could I forget of The Curse of Monkey Island, Larry, Prince of Persia, Golden Axe; I even resourced to Bubble Bobble to spare my anxiety in those obscure 4-colored CGA days...

I used to play D/Generation quite a bit back in the day. A fiendishly hard game for a seven-year-old. I finally finished it a couple of days ago. :goodjob:

Anyone ever played a game called "Castle Master"?

There is a game called Spike in Transylvania which I remember playing years ago on the amiga, I've always wanted to play it again but I can't find it anywhere

I would buy Locomotion even though it looks more like a 1995 game then a 2004 game. Can't wait either way

You also have King's Quest 1-6, Monkey 2 and 3, Police Quest 1-5, DOTT, and that game noone played because it was totally unknown....Colonization :D

Colonization rocks! :D

Don't exaggerate. It's looks more like a 1999/2000 game. ;) Actually the graphics look nearly exactly identitical to Roller Coaster Tycoon. Chris Sawyer should feel ashamed since he's already sold that same engine with dozens of different version of RCT! This is simply pure robbery!

Has any1 ever played game called "Dave", this game just rocks, it reminds sth from supermario only that you walk around with a gun and blast them darn zombies and rats(and other crazy creatures)into pieces :D
I also have almost the whole series of games called "Might & Magic"(from 2-9) still on my computer(M&M1 was made at about the same time as wolf3d) i think it's a really good series of games(some parts-4,5,6 need very much time to complete-i completed these 3 with 7-8 months...)

Is Heroes of Might and Magic a different game? I have 2 and 3 :).

I agree that some people buy games just becuz of graphics but i think graphics these days are amazing and are a plus but yes i love games like Super Mario Bros. and tetris and all those games still. :)

Ehehehe, 2 days ago I went on a nostalgia rampage and played all the day Speed Ball 2, Populous 1 and... Mac Missile :D

Plus, my friends and me are very special. While most of teens nowadays only know CS, Quake, War3, UT etc. (other a** kicking 3D games) when they go for LAN party, we rather spend the night playing Dethkarz, Bomberman (SNES emulator+netplay) tetrinet and even some great freeware like GLTron. We must belong to the old generation now :)
Aaah kids nowadays...
