On your computer next year....

BOOOOOOO, Green=dull

:) conformity in military units IS realistic. Go back and camo all Rip's units, and green and brown camo :D sweet

I could shorten the discussion by declaring that I make two versions, both identical anims, but one in green, one with camo pattern. It isn´t that much work to render the anims again with another material or texture ;)

To BB
:D

To Wyrmshadow

Just wanted to say, not trying to pull your beard eh not trying to hassle - example of the camo and shimmer was what came to mind.

:) I prefer are 'bland' approach to units - like a gradiated monotone with highlights - shows of the units shape and detail better at the Civ3 scale. This, while I see most camo breaks up the unit's lines, sometimes looking like a blob :D

@10Seven. I'm pretty sure you are in the minority with that opinion. I've had much better responses with the newer stuff I have been outputting with the realistic paint schemes.

its tru 10seven, they just look better with camo. gives a modern tactical feel

But, since Riptide's units are uniform green, I would prefer the same in the t-62 - conformity
That's exactly why I'de like to see the camo. Ripptide already has a uniform T62, why make a second one? Conformity for what?
With a unifomr and a camo version, then you have more possibilities. Like using the camo version for Russia, and the uniform for other Warsaw pact nation (Poland for instance), a kind of "export" version with reduced stats.

Riptide's current t-62 isn't historical - it's a made-up design

AFAIK he's only posted it in his massive preview pictures, nothing finished.

RT tends to hoarde a lot of his stuff, just in case he may want to go back yet again and remake his old units with another "filter" or some such thing. I have been told he went back and remade a lot of his aircraft that he previewed but never released. Me on the otherhand, you guys know I release things as soon as they are done.

yes, please do.

Sorry about this foul act of necromancing :vampire:, but I just have to ask if there's any progress on this scenario?

This is one out of three mods that I'm REALLY looking forward too (the others being R&R and WH2.0).
