Caesar likes to talk big and show off his new toys, but he would rather extort tribute from his neighbors rather than conquer them so that he can continue to denounce the Aztecs as the warmongering menace in the world.
Hey guys, the latest save file submitted by Luciferkid somehow had the majority of it lost. I'm not sure where that might have occurred, but I reverted the turn back to him and we'll hope the second time's the charm

It's not propaganda if it is true. The result is that Caesar gets tribute and wields threats of his hawkish Senate. How it was achieved was indeed an act of propaganda by the Romans.
I don't think reverting further would do anything - I am able to open and load the game just fine so obviously the save is fine when it reaches me. I really think that I may have uploaded the save at a time when the website was not stable and it may be a corrupt save. I would say wait for instructions before doing anything further.
Hey guys, sorry for the late response. I'm actually traveling right now and have had spotty Internet access. I haven't had a chance to test things out but I suspect Islandia is right, there was probably a hiccup with the turn submitting. I've gone ahead and reverted it one more time back to Islandia's turn, we'll see if this works.

Tried again and said successful so here is me crossing my fingers.
I bet there is still some corrupted save file there between the turns. Since Onan is the first to start a new turn, the game can't consolidate all turns in the last round. Hope I'm wrong.

Yeah I've tried this again, and no luck. No crash this time, just an endless load...well, about 10 minutes, anyway.
I started to wonder if my getting the DLC might be the source of the problem, as the events seem to coincide...been about three days since I downloaded them, and it was about 380MB, which if I remember is about the size of the full game?
Islandia seemed to have heard that this was a known issue. I couldn't find anything too specific, but I did try moving the whole DLC folder out of the assets folder and retrying. But then the GMR save was the wrong one, for a different game.... Manually downloaded the correct save from the website...then went to load it (turn 54, seems right)...and it said I couldn't cause I lacked the right DLC. oh boy!
It's going to take me a while to sort this out...any info or other known solutions appreciated. I'm not sure I put my DLC folder back in the right place, so I may have to reinstall.... Anyway, what a big unanticipated hassle...I'm going to have to dig into it later. Big concern though that the game was telling me I couldn't load a vanilla save due to not having the correct DLC, when I have all the DLC! Agh.

I think we started the game vanilla but with the Mongol DLC. That's the state it needs to be in to load it correctly.

Okay, not sure what the problem was, but I've reverted the turn back a full turn, till it was my last turn again. Played that and submitted and it seems fine. Let's hope no corruption creeps in this time around. Sorry for any inconvenience, and try to do same moves!
