Onan's Speed-Optimized GMR Game

I do remember the home cities discussion but that was about a week ago. My population at that time was 14, 11, 3, 2 in my home cities.

You've been at a happiness cap for some time and haven't grown your home cities at all that I remember since your cities were always around 10,12,10 for the big 3 and I wasn't counting Delhi or Mumbai.

That calculation and analysis are not what nomadic people can do.

FP effect is so little? Not even +10 happiness comparing. Maybe more effective late game when cities reach to 20+ with hospitals.

Edit: no blaming from Pharoah, the cash deposit from failed wonder race actually made Pharoah sleep better in his old palace  and his paranoid syndrome is getting better.

Really? 14, 11, 3, 2 grows to 17, 14, 6, 7 in only about six turns? Doesn't seem possible, even with WLTKD.

Yes, we had a happiness cap for a while, especially incorporating new cities into the empire's holdings.

FP will definitely improve as time goes on, if Rome can stand the test of time.

With our new city so close to the Egyptian border, we can hear the cheering as your abundant citizens celebrate the completion of the Taj Mahal. That's one for you guys. We think it was also being built in Djenne. We were still waiting on the tech. :(

Being only mentioned that TM is built made Pharoah worry that a 3rd wonder may have been missed in the last turn. This time the Kremlin to the Songhai?

I wouldn't know, I don't think there's ever more than one audio played, even if more than one thing happens.

Egypt got Taj Mahal and the Kremlin.

So I cant figure out what FP stands for? Free production?

You're not a lurker. You're a historically interested party! :D

Egypt has made the initial payment to Russian Chinese for the research project :)

We thank you kindly for this investment and will hold it for such a project. We are sad to say though that our finances are in need of some triage, which we'll be addressing over the next couple turns.

Mighty Caesar,

Askia would ask that you return the favor he extended to you when he traded away his only source of furs for your duplicate incense in order to help the happiness of your people. He would like you to trade your single source of sugar for his duplicate silver as he would like to flavor his tea. We look forward to a long and fruitful trading relationship.

Not a problem.

Hopefully when it comes time to renew, we'll have something to offer you don't already have.

Roman scouts have noted the Egyptian forces assembled near Tyre, and the road being built which seems designed to incorporate yet another city state, this one sharing a long border with Roman lands.

Taking Tyre would create serious tension between our so far quite friendly empires. We advise against this course of action.

To further indicate how gravely we view the situation, Caesar and the Senate wish to propose a Defensive Pact with the Songhai Empire. What say you, Askia?

The Egypt army is moving away and stopped building roads towards the middle of the map after Ceasar expressed his concern. The defensive fact is really not necessary because Egypt has no intention to escalate the tensions between any of our neighbours.

We thank our wise neighbours for taking the prudent course of action and steering clear of any conflict. Caesar would like to take this opportunity to celebrate our long trading partnership and friendly relations, stretching back into the mists of time.
:king:  :egypt:

 Pharaoh would like to discuss the fate of the northern two City States, particularly Genoa that owns the wine resource. Although Egyptians are enjoying wines, we have been long deprived of incense from Rome. By securing the wine, Egypt can spare the gold lux to trade incense from Rome in the future. We hope these two remote CS won't cause any concern from Ceasar.

We'll need to consult our geographers about these CS.

Regarding the incense, our citizens have been clamouring for gold since our WLTKD finished from the earlier trade in place of the gold. We should have another source of incense to work for you, and relatively soon. Hopefully a return to this trading arrangement can benefit both our peoples.

Genoa is not on our maps of the world, which are sadly incomplete. So, out of sight, out of mind.

Helsinki, on the other hand, we would like to remain unmolested.

On to trading: we can develop another incense plantation for you within about 6-8 turns. The question is, will you have a source of gold to trade with us? Cash might be a lesser substitute, if necessary.

Gold lux is the most abundant in Egypt. Helsinki has 3 irons, which has less chance of having other strategic resources, so we will leave it as it is now
