But seriously, being the Civ III Mod Dawg wasn't working out for the dude anymore. I was too much dawg and not enough mod. Now I just drop by every few days to tell FearlessLeader2 and Juize that their both full of sh!t and every now and then drop two cents in the pot about someone else being full of sh!t.
But where the hell have you been, you phat Mongol? Man, when we're were going to name my replacement you're name was at the top of my list...but you's was no where to be seen.

CornMaster has made 15 new programs that are usefull only to himself, but he is damn proud of them.

I wish I could say I'm back to stay, since there's so much catching up to do and so many new faces (smileys?) around here, but alas the gods of academia have me tightly chained up for another couple of years--I decided to go the distance and get me one of 'em Ph.D. thingies.

How about the best of both worlds. You do a thesis on Civ3, and you have to ah, play the game to ah, "study" it, so if you want to do a good job you have to "study" for many, MANY, hours.
I sure that will fly with the better half.
No joke, I've thought of it.
But you know, I'm convinced that I could design a fun and interesting high school history unit around the game. I'm not a history teacher unfortunately--and I can't quite justify using it in an English classrooom. What to do, what to do?
Oh hell, I'm wasting valuable playing time... See yas!

P.S. Damn, Civ 3 is good! This new AI is really quite a challenge--mind you I'm only playing my first ever game, at Regent level. How long did it take you guys to get to Deity again? I'm really breaking a sweat here!

I still look in from time to time and post a very rare post every few months - but this!!!! Damn I hope I have what it takes to prevent myself from getting caught in the friendly vortex of cool people that is CFC!
Hope you like your return - I guess my own return will be quite some time out in the future - hopefully in a year but at leat 6 month! School is my number one priority, but damn it's hard to ahve bought Civ3 limited edition and having installed tham game, but still haven't started my first game...........
