Optimizing laptop performance ?

Hi, I have 256 mb of Ram on my laptop. The game runs ok...it has a memory leak I think and towards the later stages of my play it slows down considerably.

Right now I have it on medium detail, so Ill probably lower the detail to low and see how it works. Is there anything else that I can do to optimize gameplay, other than going to the systray and shuting things down?

Alternativly, does anyone know how easy/cheap it is to install extra ram onto a Tecra S1 laptop? Thanks

Like you said, you can shut down all unnecessary processes you're running. Visit www.tweakxp.com for more info on which ones are safe to shutdown.
