Empire Earth (the original)

EE had the best map editor ever. It was so intuitive and user-friendly compared to its successor.

The best load of fun was putting two ginormous sides of various ahistorical forces (giant robo mechs, WW2 tanks, Cavemen, Hoplites, Cyborg Assassin Ninjas) and then setting them on to each other. I can't for the life of me remember how much time was lost on this wee afternoons relishing the fights of the histories.

There is nothing like nuking a Middle Ages civ and listening to all their little anguished computer screams in EE.

Galactic Civilizations II. MLB The Show 12. Fallout 3. Fallout New Vegas.

The only thing stopping me from giving it all my monies is the DRM. I'm already using steam thankyouverymuch no need for extra layer of that

ANNO 2070 - From what I understand the DRM was changed, graphics hardware was removed from "the hash used to identify the PC." Yes, you do just have 3 installs but if you contact ubisoft the will renew. So really no worries there.

CKII, EU3 and Victoria II. Anyone who likes strategy or history should look them up.

The Anno games are great too.

I play all kinds of things.Alot of Star Wars games, the racing game Grid occasionally, and Baseball on the PS3.

I mostly just play with other people, so:

CiV with my wife
Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers with my wife and my brother-in-law
Starcraft 2 with my brother
soon, Diablo III with my brother

I wish I had time to do any single-player gaming, but who does these days?

Civ 4, Europa Universalis 3, Victoria 2, Heroes of Might & Magic 3, Simcity 4, Space Empires 4. And a bunch of 90s games like Commander Keen etc.
