Out of Sync issues

I've been playing Civ IV (loaded with latest patches) in direct connection multiplayer mode with friends. It seems that late in the game, we get pitboss out of sync messages. Weird thing is that we can continue to play....it's just annoying with the flashing out of sync messages all over the screen. Has anyone run into this problem before and come up with a solution?

I´ve been facing the same problem. But the "out of sync" message already appeared at turn 20 or so.
It would be great if someone could come up with some help.
