Out of work: help if you can

I got home from work on Friday Sept. 28th, two days before my birthday, and got a call from my temp agency that the company I was working for didn't need me to come back on Monday. Since then I have sent out about 50 resumes and only gotten one interview and that postion has been filled.

I had pre-ordered Civ III LE but had to cancel my order because I don't have any income coming in and I had no savings saved up. I estimate that I am down over $700 already from where I would be having been out of work for 2 weeks. When you are a contractor you don't get a severince package.

If anybody wants to help a fellow civilization junkie to have Civ IiI when it is released they can contribute to the Civ III for goodyhut fund I am making. Send contribution to 2100-D Sutton Dr. Raleigh, NC 27605.
