Pachacuti, Aqueducts and Macchu Picchu

I wonder if they would be better balanced to at least space out the bonuses. So, for example:
-initial yield: 1f, +1f if adjacent to a mountain
-adds +1p if next to freshwater with engineering
- changes +1f if next to a mountain to +1f per mountain with some other tech/civic (feudalism?)

That way, they're still a worthwhile yield even from turn 1, but you don't get the crazy yields until at least a little into the game. The fact that you can place a tile down by turn 10 with like a yield of 6 on top of the base terrain just makes it so insane.

Has anyone done the maths on the value of ASAP terrace farms versus using chopping first?

My gut feel is waiting for Magnus is definitely a failure, though I guess if you have jungle all around you Magnus might arrive around the same time as bronze working.
