Pact to contain my aggression??

I'm playing a game as the Zulus right now on Warlord level. The Israelites and Incas formed a pact against my "aggression", as did one other pair of AI civs I can't remember right now.

What caused that? I never attacked anybody and only had a couple of defensive units per city.

Dosen't matter what you did, in the later stages of the game, the AI civs will gang up on you no matter how peaceful you are. Appearently, this is due to the fact that the human player usually has more cities, techs, and units by this stage of the game.

It happens if the human player is Supreme for a significant amount of time. Being nice does not lessen likelyhood, but if you keep their attitudes above Receptive they won't suddenly backstab you.

True, but it will not stop them from forming an alliance against you. Especially in Gold...
