One.TS: If we need to add two cubes to a city with already three, does that spawn two outbreaks, or only one?
But don't worry - I'll do my best to warn you about worst case scenarios.TS: If we need to add two cubes to a city with already three, does that spawn two outbreaks, or only one?
I think I see like 3 reasonable turns for me:
1. Move to London, remove a disease cube. This is like a “safe” option that preserves a card and helps handle a 3-cube spot. Downside is that we don’t immediately go to the hotspots in Asia
2. Burn a card to fly to Hong Kong, start treating disease in the area. This’ll immediately get the ball rolling on dealing with the most dangerous place. Downside is that it costs a card.
3. Just walk to Hong Kong to prepare to plop down a research center next turn. Downside is that I don’t actually treat any disease this turn. Upside is that a research center in Hong Kong is absurdly valuable.
I’m leaning option 1 right now, but I’d like to hear thoughts.
Only you can give cards at any city. Otherwise the other players must meet in the city being traded.I think give Syns the Hong Kong card, he goes there and builds a research station, then G1K and I can both shuttle there and the three of us knock back the black and the red because Hong Kong is good access to both. Marcher goes at the blue in London. The yellow runs unchecked for a turn but we get a little breathing room. Don't spend yellow cards and even if it gets a good start maybe we cure it first and make it easy to beat back.
As TS mentioned, I don't need any cards from you guys to go swing by Shanghai, plop down a station (better accessibility), and then move on over to Beijing to take it down from outbreak level.I think give Syns the Hong Kong card, he goes there and builds a research station, then G1K and I can both shuttle there and the three of us knock back the black and the red because Hong Kong is good access to both. Although looking at it, maybe Hong Kong would be better for a station if we aren't building one in Australia.
Marcher can't pass the HK card unless he and another player are both there. Synsensa should be able to get there with his special abilities though. If you have the HK card you fly there, build, move one space, remove a black cube
I fly shuttle, move two to Bejing, remove red cube
G1K shuttles, moves two spaces, removes black cube
Next turn we theoretically clear all the remaining cubes in the area and we have HK to fly out of.

I thought he could pass the card because him and Syns are in same city?
