I guess there's a actual hall of fame on the fastest victory etc. etc. when everything is done proper. But I trying to find out the fastest way possible to win the game with exploits.

I only play on small maps (6 players), deity difficulty and standard speed. So that's what I'm basing it on.

Victory conditions I have tested:

Domination
Fastest Win:
32 Turns
Pantheon on turn 11. Could be faster. But domination is such a chore so I didn't attempt it too much.

Map Type: Terra
Leader positions are fixed so they are easy to find, I tried archipelago and it was significantly slower. I spend much more time finding civs than actually destroying them.

CIV: Maori, Kupe
You need to be lucky with religious city states. Performs better than other faith focused leaders as he is able to sail settlers directly to the civs and build troops from there. Much faster than moving your troops since you basically get unlimited free settlers and you get them much earlier than your army. But they are a nightmare to manage. I spend 3 hours on a 32 turn game.

CS: 13
I was playing with the seed and 13 worked better than 14. Else the more the better.

Resources: Abundant
I'm not sure about this setting but having a fishing resource wherever I want seems to be beneficial

Starting Position: Standard
Tweaking this doesn't seem to affect Maori so I didn't bother with it.

Sea Level: Standard
Maybe high will work better haven't gotten to it.

General strategy is to rush your pantheon get your free settlers workers and unlimited hammers from fishing boats. I was getting 1 unit per turn per city as I converted them into campus and commercial hubs to speed things are. I believe this is not the actual fastest that is possible since I haven't fully optimize it.

Religion
Fastest Win:
22 Turns
Pantheon on turn 12.

Map Type: Archipelago
Works better than terra since you can settle all the random small islands and get a **** ton of cities to gift them away later.

CIV: Maori, Kupe
Same thing with religious city states. Performs better than other faith focused leaders as he is settle cities and find other civs much faster.

CS: 14

Resources: Abundant
To be honest this doesn't really matter in this case cause all your need is actually 1 stone and 1 fish in your capital.

Starting Position: Standard

Sea Level: High
I was afraid of AI settling more cities if they have more space. But from the speed I've done it I doubt it actually matter.

World Age: Old
You basically want to be able to settle immediately after disembarking, having forest or hills doesn't help.

Temperature: Hot
You basically want to be able to settle immediately after disembarking, having forest or hills doesn't help. Tundra may have woods while desert wont.

Rainfall: Arid
You basically want to be able to settle immediately after disembarking, having forest or hills doesn't help.

General strategy is to rush your pantheon get your free settlers. You dont need workers in this case since you dont need to develop your cities. And use your settlers and scout and settle at the same time. I recruited about 40+ settlers in my case.

There are also 2 approach to it. The first would be to get a faith pantheon and faith buy your GP. But this will require you to actually build your holy site legitimately. The second would be to get the fishing boat pantheon and build the Stonehenge.

You will want to pick the belief where cities you found start with your religion, also note that you cant settle any other city before you found your religion else it wont work. Lastly, just meet all the other civs and gift them enough cities to get them flipped.
