I just watched Paranormal Activity tonight, and frankly, it didn't scare me. It made me laugh. The footprints on the floor and especially the door opening and closing was only creepy at the extreme beginning, then ceased to be creepy after the second time. Her getting dragged out of bed was :lmao: funnier than hell, and when she was staring at him for 3 hours straight, it was unsettling until she went to sit out on the porch. Ha ha!

The very end was the only um... :run: part. That creeped me out when she looked at the camera. But seriously, if you've got :satan: in the house (or in your girlfriend :eekdance:) call an exorcist. Jeez, how stupid. And that board he bought, it makes me :wallbash:.

So, overall I was not scared, despite many reviews. And I NEVER watch horror, so anything scares me. Heck, The Sixth Sense scared me. This didn't. But I do recommend it to anyone wanting a kinda-freaked-out-laughable-evening with friends.

As for a Paranormal Activity 2, I just think they're:deadhorse:. Especially if it's a different director.

What do you guys think?

Actually I watch a lot of "scary" movies, and this one was the first one to actually creep me out. For some reason I got a little disturbed by her picture in the attic. I agree with your take on 2 though. I mean what's the point?

Its basically just 90 minutes of looking at scared people, right? Whats wrong with kids these days? Back in my day we watched real scary movies like Zardoz.

Yeah, that picture was a little weird, especially because it was directly over their bed. :shifty: But it was too obvious that who put it there was the director (Haha). The only really scary part of the movie was two places: first when the demon was banging on the door, and then when at the very end she threw him into the camera, then looked at it with an evil face and pounced at it.
