paratrooper as Special Forces

i like to use paratrooper as Special Forces so i did some mod to it.

normal para: Attack 6, Def 8, movement 1, op range 6, shield cost 100

my special forces paratrooper: A 10, D 8, M 1, op range 8, shield cost 120. plus ability all terrain as road

so any comment? is it too weak or too strong yet?
 
I have mine 12.8.1 cost 100 then i have my Marines 14.6.1 cost 100. It works pretty well.
 
yoda: a tank is 16.8.2. u put marine 14.6.1 isnit the marine too strong?

and y do u think marine is more powerful in attack than paratrooper?
 
I have Modern Armor most of the times when iget marines so it´s not to un-balanced, and in un-modded game´s marines sre more powerfull than para´s.
 
Too bad the marines and paratroopers are underrated (that is my opinion at least). Marines should still have a stronger attack capability and the paratroopers should have a stronger defense, in a way that infantry almost averages the two.

Inf = 6-10-1
Mar = 12-6-1
Para = 6-12-1

I believe next CIV release should standardize this rather than having the fans changing it themselves
 
paratroopers with 6 attack are not usable thier change of winnig over a Mech Infantry is simply to low, thats why i have given them 12 attack.
 
Paratroopers weren't designed to take out mech infantry. They were to be light attackers who can get behind a fortified front line. Often concentrating on infrastructure capture/destruction.
 
my mod para is 10.8.1 op range 8 + all land as road

since i want to use para as spec ops then is it logical to have its attack greater or lower than its defence?
