Patch 1.0.1.166 is out

No mongol DLC? I see Babylonian and Spain/Inca for sale. The Mongol DLC was free to PC users in Oct. Has it been pulled from Steam? Anyone know?

It was supposed to auto-download with the patch. In fact I know I saw the Mongol Scenario in the scenario list last night, so I (at least) got it.

BTW: Patch was very seamless for me. Loaded up my game in progress and it worked fine with all the changes implemented. I love how you can now buy Courthouses. Just puppet a city, wait until it is out of revolt, annex it, and buy a Courthouse. Sweet!

Cheers.

I am very disappointed with how the Civ 5 Mac port is being patched. I bought the game for someone with the sole purpose of us being able to play together PC-Mac and two months later, the game still yet to be played.

The latest is, they have PC-Mac multiplayer "working" internally, but they're experiencing crashes. They need to identify if the crashes are legacy or specific to the Mac port (and fixable) before they enable it for the masses.

I've not run extensive testing, and I am on the 9400M, which is technically not supported, but I have yet to finish a game with the new patch. I've only tried twice, but it crashes around the late 19th early 20th century. The settings are all minimal or low, and the settings worked pretty fluidly on the old patch. I'll probably try to do some more testing in the coming week, but I just wanted to see if there was anything similar going on with anyone else.

newbie question -- all of a sudden the library stopped being a specialist building mid game - is this related to the new patch or an anomaly?

Did the mongols get added when I opened steam? I can't find them in the shop.

Note to self: read the second page >.<

I'm in the same boat. The single-player experience wore out for me very quickly. I'm hoping some multiplayer with my friends will bring new life to the game.

That's not why I bought the game, but that was always in the plans. It was advertised and talked about since Version 3 of Civ. Diablo II multiplayer worked and that was like a decade ago...

Maybe cause Diablo II is hosted... I don't know it just doesn't seem like it should be that hard of a problem, I've worked on server client game code before, maybe they should have made a CivNet like BattleNet...

I looked at the release notes but didn't see it...

Does anyone know if Angkor Wat has been fixed? The description says 75% reduction in all cities but as far as I can tell, previously it only affect ed the one city it was built in...
