Patch 1.08 won't install on FilePlanet installation???

Anyone else having this problem? I purchased and downloaded Civ 4 from FilePlanet and used the CD-less installation. I've downloaded Patch 1.08 but it won't install, stating that it can't find an installed copy of Civilization 4.

Edit: OK, since the patch is on hold, this thread is now irrelevant. However, it should be noted that anyone who installed from a D2D installation file should download the D2D Hotfix, available here:

where did you find a downloadable 1.08 patch file?

I'm not entirely sure the file I downloaded was the 1.08 patch. That seems irrelevant now, as I've heard that the patch is broken. Apparently no one can join multiplayer games. Not sure what's going on, I'm going to wait until tomorrow until this is all sorted out.

The "patch" for the DL version is to make it the same as the RELEASE version of the game. It's not an update.
