Hi,
I bought a french version of Civ III (v1.21g) and I wanted to play those scenario that need v1.29f, so I used patch v1.29b.
And now my Problem is:
My Civ version is a mix of french and english...
This is not "very" disturbing except for .bic file that I should now be able to load...
In fact, many .bic file I download reference english named units located in /Art/Units folder. I don't have those units because patch v1.29b didn't had them (then civIII crash claimaing missing units...).
Patch v1.29b have updated /Art/Units folder, but its update is incomplete. It added units, I already have, using their english name and kept old french named units.
So, I imagined tow solutions:
Adding manually all english units in /Art/Units folder. But where do I find them since my original version is in french ?
Translate patch v1.29b in french (I don't know how ?), but this should not solve .bic file problem which use english units.
Maby both solutions should be used or something else ?
