Patch now available.

Well, sort of. You can move identical units together. For example, you can move 5 tanks. But you cannot move 2 tanks and an artillery together. Also, you cannot move even 5 tanks onto a transport. You must still load these one at a time.

I don't want to be banned for a week again so i'll keep my temper down. In short, the patch doesn't allow me to start a game, load a scenario or load one of my other games. Basically I can't play. This BLOWS!!!!

For reasons stated elsewhere this patch is pathetic in implementation and takes away almost as much as it gives...

Plus I had to re-install as the patch does NOT check the second drive for a cd, thus since my primary drive is dead at the moment I had to re-install to play running the install through my secondary drive (how I play b4...I put on the no-cd hack when my primary drive died).

That doesn´t sound too good Kitten,grumbler,MummyMan...

I´m confused,on almost every thread I look there is some bug report, first it was the editor thingie, now I read somewhere that 1.17 turn changes take longer than ones in 1.16,as if I or anyone else could take even more waiting, now the cd drive, well that I will probably survive, but all the same...

Doesn´t seem this patch is all too stable,I haven´t installed it yet since I´m on a huge game in 1.16,I planned on installing it afterwards, but now I doubt I should.I can do the .bic changes myself, most in 1.17 Readme was ok,but what I really want is the stack moves, now if the patch seems to make everything harder, why not explain to me how I can have stack moves without this patch?

Can´t Firaxis give out a seperate file on this?

That´s all I want...for now ;)

Stacking is great.

I have only played one game so far, but I started with 4 cows around!!!Is this normal with the new patch? And just a little ways off, there were 3 cows!!! Who needs pop rushing settlers if you've got cows!
