Patch Problems

Hey guys,

I have Civ 4 basic edition no warlords or bts or anything and I was going to download Patch 1.74 from in game and so I downloaded it and it went to 100% and said to close the game so it would install. I did this and I open the game back up, and it says that the same patch is available to be installed. Why didn't it install????

I go to install and it doesn't let me choose Civ 4 to update. It's greyed out.

Please note that all Aspyr patches update the Civilization IV application. If a patch claims it can't find your Civ4 to update, click the "Other" button and navigate to the Civilization IV application you want it to work on.
