Patches for non-English versions??

I am located in Spain... and, as you can imagine, use a Spanish-language WinXP, a Spanish version of Civ3...

No patches have been released for the Spanish version - and I tried to install the (latest) english patch. From similar experiences in other programs, sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't.

After applying the patch Civ3 refuses to start and asks for the Civ3 CD; the thing is that the CD is in the drive, but the program does not seem to recognise it (my guess is that it looks for the English version CD, and does not recognise the Spanish one).

Can anyone give me any hint? Can any Civfanatic think of a workaround?

Compatriota, me pasa lo mismo. Además estoy pillao con una partida que me peta con la v1.16f y estoy desesperado buscando un patch que funcione. Si lo encuentro te mando la dirección.
