PBEM Bug?

I've been playing a couple of PBEM games with PTW. I've noticed that if you set your science to 100% and start taking a deficit on gold, once you get down to zero, nothing happens. You can continue to lose 200 gold per turn but at the beginning of each turn, you're still at zero.

Is this a bug? I thought you used to have to sell off city improvements to maintain a positive (or at least zero) gold reserve?

If's it's a bug, is there anywhere to report this? Has anyone else noticed this?

not sure i've noticed it Diamond1971, i've always avoided running the tresury down.

Did you have any improvements to loose in the first place. Depending on what order you are in the PBEM turn you miss out on certain pop up messages, such as wonders built, diplomatic changes in the game, although i would imagine pop-ups that relate to your turn should appear when you load the sav for your turn.
