PBEM Game Join!!!!

(I dont know if this is the right place to put it but if it isnt, sorry.)

Anyone wanna join a multiplayer PBEM game. I wanna try a 4 player game. This is the first time I tried this so if there is anything I should know please tell me. The first 4 players to post will enter. Just one AI. Standard map. Random rules. Regent AI.
Please tell me if there is anything else I should post.

I need to find out how this PBEM thing works, since I can't fathom why someone in the other thread would say if it isn't PTW he's not playing. What I mean is that I can't fathom why someone would prefer to do an email game with a multiuser client. But I'm on on vanilla, so what do I know anyway

That was me who said I wouldn't play unless it was PTW v1.21. The reason is quite simple. Any other version isn't compatable with what I have installed and my version isn't compatable with any previous version. To play any other version I'd have to uninstall PTW and CivIII and then reinstall either. However, I couldn't install patch 1.14 because it's not available anymore.

PBEM requires uploads from my computer to be read by the other players and downloads from them to me. If our versions are different, they can't even see what I send and I can't see what they send. In short, we all have to be using the same version and I'm not going to change what I have already.

Thanks for that information as I had no idea what an email game entailed and didn't find rules after a quick scan. I'm used to email games (other games, I mean) where the host controls everything and makes updates as per player directions.
